I’m excited to read what just came in the mail, Blindness by Jose Saramago. Apparently, I’m a bit late to this party as the novel came out in the mid-90′s. It appears to be an apocalyptic gem that poses the question, “What would happen if blindness was the next epidemic?” Overall, the reviews look very promising and so does the premise. I’ll be sure to give you my two cents when it’s finished… hopefully by Monday morning.
